BEST TIME TO VISIT

ITINERARY
In essence, the trek begins in Srinagar, and you’ll likely pass through Pahalgam to get to the base camp of Aru. On a road, the trip takes three to four hours. Beautiful apple orchards and alpine tree meadows can be seen on both sides of the route. There are undoubtedly some unique viewpoints from this vantage point. On the second day, you will journey for a further six or more hours across two freshwater streams and a few Gujjar towns.
You will soon be at the Lidderwat valley. Trek through a pine forest and some meadows the next day. Make sure to see the Homwas Cave while travelling. Get there and unwind for the day at the Shekwas. The Tarsar, Sundersar, and Marsar lakes should be reachable from here in a few days.
THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND
The journey is not too taxing, but there are some challenging sections that newbies may find challenging. Some areas are surrounded by big stones and have a high slope or plunge. However, even if you are just starting out, if you start training yourself for a few months, both physically and mentally, things will work out for you.
